Inter-Club RWYB Competition

Who’s got the fastest car-club in the UK? The Street Nationals is here to find out! Each club puts forward their top drivers to the Street Nationals Club Eliminations.

Nominees

Each club stand is allowed free “nominees” to the inter-club competition, as decided by the club stand organiser. How he/she picks the nominees is up to them, so they could be decided in advance, or the organiser could pick the nominees based on RWYB performance on Saturday. All nominees’ details need to be submitted to the event organisers in the startline tower by Saturday 5pm.

The number of nominees a club can put forward depends on its size. A club of up to 10 cars gets 1 nominee, 20 gets 2 nominees and 30 gets 3 nominees (maximum 3).

Qualifying

On Sunday there will be a 1-shot “super-pole” qualifier session in the morning, where all nominees will run together. The top 8/16 (depending on the number of clubs) will then be ready to go into eliminations! The lowest ETs will get the best qualifying spaces. Anyone outside of the “bump-spot” will be out of the competition. Don’t screw this up; this is your one-and-only chance for nominees to qualify well!

Eliminations

It’s a knock-out competition from here on, first to the finish line takes the win, and second to finish is the loser. Don’t get a red light, but don’t muck about on the line either- reaction times will be very important. We’ll eventually be left with just two cars for the grande finale!

Rules

All “nominees” get a crack at the competition for free. If you’re knocked out, you can re-join the RWYB, but you’ll need to pay the sign-on fee. Cars in the competition must be road legal. Cars are run at the race-director’s discretion, so if you’re running quicker than a 10, we’ll be expecting to see a roll-cage etc. as well as all the usual RWYB regulations.
